Welcome to Cloudburst Recycling

503.281-8075

We are excited about the new Recycling and Yard Debris rollcart program, and we hope you are too!

The new carts will be easy for customers to roll to the curb, and easier for route drivers to load into the trucks. The carts will allow less sorting of recyclables for the customer, will hold more material, and allow us to collect some additional types of plastics.

During June and July, we will deliver two rollcarts to each residential customer:

A couple weeks before you get your carts, we will leave you a flyer on your garbage can. When you get your new carts, there will be instructions on how to use them.

The blue recycling cart will replace the yellow bins.

All recyclables you currently put in yellow bins will be mixed together in the Blue cart, except for glass. You will continue to use a yellow bin for glass bottles and jars. After the carts are distributed, we will no longer collect recyclables in yellow bins, except for glass. If you wish, we can remove any yellow bins you do not want the week following your rollcart delivery.

We will now be able to recycle the following additional plastics at the curb:

We CANNOT recycle the following plastic items.

The green yard debris carts will be collected every other week.

Yard debris must be put in the green rollcart. Yard debris collection will continue to be every other week Your collection day will not change. If you have extra yard debris, put it next to your green rollcart in paper lawn bags, a 32 gallon can with a yard debris sticker, or properly bundled. There is a weight limit of 105 lbs for the rollcarts, 55 lbs for 32gal cans, and 45 lbs for paper lawn bags or bundles.

DO NOT use either the blue or the green cart for garbage.

If you wish, Cloudburst can provide you with a rollcart for garbage. We can also provide you with additional rollcarts for recycling or yard debris. Please call for rates and to arrange delivery.

We want to thank you for helping us make these improvements to our recycling system.
